Clothes Taking Multiple Cycles to Dry?

Laundry that takes more than one cycle to dry indicate the start to a very BIG problem. When clothes start taking longer to dry is something you should not ignore. What happens is that over time lint begins to build up in the dryer exhaust duct and doesn't allow the water vapor from the laundry to be vented. A common misconception is that your vent won't need service if you clean your dryer lint screen before or after each laundry load. Lint accumulation will still occur, the difference is that your can go a lil bit longer without the need of professional cleaning. We highly recommend annual inspections for safety. You are invited to see more of our photos on our social media pages of the odd findings we encounter. Links at bottom of page.

Many of times you may find internet information on dryer vent cleaning DIY and for some  that have a skilled hand, proper tools, and proper training a great job can be completed. But there is more than simply running a brush inside or even a leaf blower. Many of times we find that homeowners, handy man, window cleaners, rain gutter cleaners, and even pressure washers companies have made an attempt to clean only to make the dryer vent worse than before and cost more to fix. Dryer vents can have many angle turns and we often find that the vent wasn't entirely clean, lint was pushed further causing a clog, or even worse disconnecting a vent pipe that is behind a wall. At Petrichor Cleaning Systems we use Vent Vision video technology to confirm jobs results after completion as well as part of our pre inspection, we are LintNinjaz certified and trained to the highest industry standards, and you will only find us using specialized cleaning tools to get results you can be confident about.
